The library accepts donations of books and other library materials on behalf of the Friends of the Library. Bring donations by the library any time we are open. The Library does reserve the right to make the final decision about how donations are used and distributed.
Can't visit the library? Register for our Books by Mail program to receive books at no cost. You'll be able to select materials from a catalog.

Looking for a specific title and can't find it in our catalog? Let us know so we can try to borrow it from another library for you. This service is for items older than 1 year and does have additional guidelines.
Guests of all ages may use the public computers and internet that are located near the Information Desk or in the Youth Services department. Must agree to the library's Internet Use policies.
The Local History Room contains volumes on Virginia history and genealogy. These are reference materials and may be used on site only by library visitors conducting genealogical and historical research.
Get documents notarized for free at the library. We recommend contacting the library to confirm notary availability. Please bring the (unsigned) document and your photo identification.
Print from a library public-use computer or wirelessly from your own device. Copies, faxes, and scans are also available. Check applicable pricing.
The Quiet Study Room is available to library visitors on a first-come, first-served basis.

Looking for a specific new book and can't find it in our catalog? Come by, call us, or use our online form to suggest a purchase for our collection. This service is for items published in the last year.
If you have low vision, blindness, or any disability that prevents you from using regular print materials, you can apply for the Talking Books program to receive free braille, audio, or other alternate format titles.
Tax forms are available seasonally. The pre-printed selection may vary, but the Information Desk can assist with printing other forms directly from the IRS or Commonwealth of Virginia pages.
Needing to take a monitored test? We can serve as a location for proctored exams for your school or other testing institution. Please contact the Information Desk in advance to schedule.
Free Public WiFi is available using the "Culpeper Library" network. There is no password or registration required.
