About the Book Store
Located inside the Culpeper County Library, adjacent to the Adult Reading Area.
In-store payment: Cash or check only.
Circulation desk accepts: cash, check, credit card, PayPal, & Venmo.
Minimum $1.00 purchase via credit card, PayPal, & Venmo.
"Book Scanning" for book resale is prohibited.
The intent of the book store is to provide the community with inexpensive access to books and reading material ownership. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit run by a group of volunteers within the Library in support of the Culpeper community. If you are seen scanning books for resale, we will kindly ask for you to stop and/or leave.
The Bookstore is run solely by Volunteers
All the great folks who work in the bookstore are volunteers. As such, although we strive to maintain operating hours from 11am-3pm, sometimes unexpected interruptions may occur. We have other shopping areas outside of the bookstore that are available during the library's operating hours. Purchases may be made at the Circulation Desk.
Book Sale Corner is always open.

Book Donations
The library accepts donations of books and other materials on behalf of the Friends of the Library. Bring donations by the library any time we are open. The Library does reserve the right to make the final decision about how donations are used and distributed. Please limit donations to 2 boxes or 3 grocery bags per drop off. A gift acknowledgement receipt is available upon request.
