About Us
The Culpeper Library Foundation, Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization created to support the services and activities of the Culpeper County Library.
Members and supporters of the Foundation know that a lively and vibrant library is key to the development of a community. They have pledged their support in helping the library achieve its mission of providing services and programs to improve the quality of life here in Culpeper County.
Previous gifts from the Foundation helped to build the library building; purchase furniture for the library; a new website and logo for the library; installation of shade sails for the patio; and many other projects over the years.

Purpose & Goals
The Culpeper Library Foundation supports the library's strong community commitment. Originally designed to support construction of the present library building, the Foundation continues to support the library with capital gifts that meet the Mission and Vision of the Library.
The Foundation's Goals are:
- To raise funds through individual and corporate gifts, bequests and grants.
- To maintain a prudent investment strategy for the Foundation endowment
- Ensure that funds are allocated in a way that promotes innovation and vision in library services.
Ways to Help
These gifts are generally accepted without review by the Board:
- Cash gifts including checks or money orders.
- Marketable Securities
- Bequests and Beneficiary Designations under Revocable Trusts, Life Insurance Policies, Commercial Annuities and Retirement Plans.
- Charitable Remainder Trusts
- Charitable Lead Trusts
