Who Can Get a Card?
You can get a free library card if you live, work, or own property in Culpeper County or live in a surrounding county: Albermarle, Fauquier, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange, Rappahannock, Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Westmoreland. Also included are the cities of Charlottesville and Fredericksburg.
You’ll need to provide a photo ID or proof of address.

Apply Online
Adults can apply for a card online. You will need to bring your ID or proof of address to the library to finalize the process.

Anyone can come to the library with their ID or proof of address to apply for a card. You can print the attached PDF and bring it with you.
